Strategy: Sophia's entire kit resolves around a single condition: land Terror, then everything else gets dramatically better. Terror — Deathblow applies the debuff via an aura that pulses every two turns, and once it's up, Terror — Annihilation means all squads — not just Cavalry — deal 75% increased damage to the afflicted target. That's a bigger multiplier than Vivian's Crouching Tiger (25%), but it's conditional rather than unconditional: Sophia needs a turn or two to get Terror online, where Vivian's amplification is active from the first attack. That tradeoff defines how to use her. She's not a DPS hero in her own right — Puppet Master's AoE damage and 1s confuse are useful but secondary. Her job is standing next to heroes who hit hard and letting Terror multiply their damage. Pair her with high-burst joiners like Yang or Amadeus rather than other support heroes; stacking two damage-multiplier heroes in the same march wastes one of them. Skill priority: Terror — Deathblow first to get the debuff online reliably, Terror — Annihilation second to maximize the payoff once it lands, Scalding Mark third — its stacking mark both increases the target's damage taken further and buffs Sophia's own Attack by 24%, so it compounds nicely once the Terror line is maxed. Arcane Pact's 40% chance to halve incoming damage is solid passive survivability, but don't build around it — she's a control and amplification hero first.
