Strategy: Jabel's real value isn't her combat kit — it's that she's the cavalry hero every new player already has. Gallant Throw's pierce-and-pin (252% AoE damage plus a 1.5s pin) gives her enough burst and control to hold her own in the early game, and Youthful Rage's flat +25% army-wide damage is genuinely strong passive value that doesn't fall off just because she's Gen 1 — it's the same category of buff Thrud and Vivian provide at higher generations, just at a smaller number. Where she actually falls behind is HP-gated survivability. Persistence only kicks in below 50% Health, and by the time a Gen 3+ cavalry lead like Petra is landing Change of Fate's high-roll hits, Jabel is often dead before that window opens — she's built for fights that last long enough for her passives to matter, and modern PvP frequently doesn't give her that time. Skill priority: Gallant Throw first for the pin (crowd control wins early fights more reliably than raw damage at this power level), then Youthful Rage for the squad-wide scaling, then Brave the Storm. Treat her as a placeholder, not a long-term investment — don't dump premium skill books into her past what's needed to clear current content. The moment you pull Petra, Thrud, or Sophia, replace her as rally lead immediately; her gear and skill investment carry over in value far less than theirs will.
